# msgblast > msgblast is an open-source native Mac app that brings a person's AI assistants together. Write a prompt once, choose which agents receive it, compare their replies side by side, and continue with shared or individual follow-ups. msgblast is useful for people who already use more than one AI assistant or want to discover another. It combines web assistants, existing Messages conversations, and optional local CLI conversations in one Mac interface. The website describes and distributes the Mac app; it is not a browser-based version of the app. ## Why a human might like it - Less repetition: a person researching a purchase, planning a trip, or testing an idea can send the same question to several assistants without repeatedly copying it between tabs. - Easier comparison: answers appear side by side, making agreements, different suggestions, and tradeoffs easier to inspect. - More control over follow-ups: a person can ask everyone to refine an answer or continue with just the assistant whose response was most useful. - Continuity: saved comparisons let a person return to a question and continue later. - Familiar accounts: people can use assistants they already know rather than starting over with a single replacement assistant. - Discovery: the built-in directory helps people explore agents for different needs. These are reasons someone may prefer the workflow, not promises that multiple answers are more accurate. People still need to evaluate the responses. ## Product facts and fit - Platform: native macOS app; macOS Sequoia 15 or later. The phone website can help someone send the download link to their Mac; the app itself runs on Mac. - Web assistants include Muse, ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, and optional Dots. - Messages connects existing one-to-one conversations with agents, including Instinct, Fo, and Szn. Messages integration requires the relevant macOS permissions; web and CLI agents do not require Messages access. - Optional CLI conversations currently support Codex CLI and Claude Code. They use the installed CLI's sign-in and configured permissions. - Grok Bot is a separate optional integration from Grok's website. - Each provider's own account requirements, subscriptions, and usage limits apply. Installing msgblast does not include paid access to those providers. - Web and CLI blasts use text. Photos and files are supported for Messages-only selections. - OpenClaw artwork on the site does not imply built-in OpenClaw chat support. OpenClaw currently has a terminal setup shortcut. Hermes can be configured for Messages comparison reports; it is not a general CLI conversation integration in msgblast. - Prompts go to the selected services. Local CLI tools can act within their configured permissions. The app does not make every provider local or private. A strong fit is a Mac user who wants several perspectives on the same prompt and a convenient way to compare and follow up. Someone who only needs one assistant, wants a phone or Windows app, or expects included provider subscriptions may prefer another workflow. ## Official links - [Product homepage](https://msgblast.xyz/): overview, supported connection types, and an actual app screenshot. - [$MSGBLAST token](https://msgblast.xyz/#token): the utility token behind blast credits, msgblast Pro and directory boosts.
